Covid-related requirements

Since April 5, 2023, the Covid-related requirements to travel to Colombia were eliminated. It is no longer necessary to show the Covid vaccination certificate or a virus detection test.

Vaccination

You will need to be vaccinated against yellow fever and show your international vaccination certificate if you come from Angola, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda or Brazil.

Accommodations

Santa Marta is a common destination for domestic and international tourism; therefore, it has adequate infrastructure and services to receive a large number of visitors. There are frequent connecting flights with Bogotá and other important cities in Colombia. There is also accommodation for all budgets.
